Laura Zachry is a San Antonio-based photographer and mixed media artist drawn to both the beauty of nature as well as the textured poetry of weathered surfaces…what she likes to refer to as urban decay. Her work combines photography, encaustic and acrylic to explore Texture, color and papered collage.

Originally from Thomasville, Georgia, she studied English at Vanderbilt University and has lived in san antonio, Texas for over 30 years. Laura’s work has a contemporary aesthetic and is included in private and corporate collections across the U.S.
